Start from the real thing.
An original, a donor, or the space the part mounts in. Photos explain the problem; calipers give the dimensions.

Replacement or new idea?
A faithful copy and an OCP3D original make different claims, so each record says which it is.

Drafts are labelled drafts.
A design stays In development until it has met the real part. A render shows shape, not fit.

Pick the plastic for the job.
Heat, sun, moisture and load decide the material. A result in one plastic never carries over to another.

Check it on the car.
Fit, grip, function, then heat and repeated use. Each result stays tied to that version and material.
