OCP3D exists to make the next useful part path visible: measured when possible, engineered when needed, and honest about every stage in between.

Old cars are not a retreat from the future. They are machines worth carrying forward — with better evidence, more useful interfaces, and less surveillance attached.

The work

OCP3D solves old car problems with measured parts, engineering, and 3D printing. A surviving original goes on the bench; its critical dimensions go on the record; a new part earns its own status on a real vehicle. When an interface was never served in the first place, we engineer the useful adaptor instead of pretending it was an OEM part.

Pre-2000, unbranded, non-safety-critical parts only. Every measured dimension is published free. The parts cost money. The measurements never do.

The old car problem

A discontinued clip is a problem. So is a wiper connection nobody ever designed, a cracked knob, an absent vent, or a small interface that turns an otherwise good car into a parked one. OCP3D treats the problem, not a nostalgia fantasy: identify the interface, document what is known, and build only what the evidence supports.

A 3D print is not a magic answer. It is a fast, physical way to test geometry, improve a measured design, and keep a machine in service while the industry has moved on.

The first signal

File 01 was a sun visor clip for a 1983 Toyota Celica Supra. It was small, unavailable, and exactly the kind of failure that can sideline a car over a few grams of plastic. We measured it, printed it, revised it from physical evidence, and kept every result on the record.

Everything after it is the same promise: old car problem in, documented part path out.

Keep the car. Not a profile of you.

Modern cars can log where you go and how you drive; that information can be sold, scored, and subscribed to. We do not need to argue with that system to know that a car without a modem remains an unusually private machine. Keeping it running is practical independence.

OCP3D follows the same rule: no trackers, no analytics, no ad pixels, and no third-party scripts. We retain only what a request or Dispatch signup genuinely needs, and say exactly what that is below.
